We now have an opportunity for a Site Health, Safety & Environment Leader to join our Major Projects team in New Zealand working on large and complex projects.

The Site HSE Leader is a site-based role, and is be a key member of the HBS (Honeywell Building Systems) team and will work closely with members of the Projects and Program Management teams to provide site management and technical leadership for all HSE activities including management system deployment, compliance, and auditing - supporting Honeywell’s contract with the Project.

The key objectives of this role will be to effectively partner with leaders to continuously improve HSE culture, awareness and accountability systems and to deploy ACS Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems to ensure compliance with legal and corporate requirements. This will also see you responsible for leading the deployment of risk assessment process and control plans development and developing and deploy HSE procedures, training, internal and external communications in concert with Corporate, business and regulatory requirements.

The Site HSE Leader will support incident investigation activities, root cause analysis, corrective action identification and closure and continuously work closely with leaders to measure and communicate HSE performance, monitor trends and champion injury/illness reduction.

You will be a highly motivated, energetic, self-directed individual with good analytical and problem solving skills, supported by demonstrated strong communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with regulatory agencies, managers and directors, and all levels of team personnel.

Dependent on final start date, you will initially be commencing with Honeywell in our Auckland office, with the view to become site-based as projects develop.
